In the last update, I accidentally forgot to change the BHA Exported Spreadsheet from ‘Absent’, which is what the software calls it, to ‘ABS’, which is what BHA wants in the spreadsheet when we upload the results. I also modified the time field so it won’t be blank in that spreadsheet.
I’ve uploaded this version for New Purchase installations, so that is available. I have also provide a copy to the testers. I’m not worried about this change, I don’t really think it needs a lot of testing… but I’m going to release this to the current users tomorrow when I have more time on the computer. I also want to make sure the current users have prior updates before I roll this out.
I’m also having an issue with the Mac update installation. On updates, the installer software I’m using likes to delete the Data file, and I’ve spent all today trying to figure out a way to fix that, but haven’t found a solution yet. I’ll look more tomorrow. If I cannot find a solution, the Mac Users who update will need to follow some very specific steps so that they don’t lose their data.
I’m really worried about Data Loss and I even lose sleep over it! I don’t want anyone to lose their data! I know it’s just a dog show… but we spend a lot of time putting in data, and I know that no one wants to do it all over again. So I’m looking into solutions. 🙂
